An Introduction to Google
"Web 2.0" tools are everywhere! Ever since the internet evolved from a digital billboard to a digital community in the late 1990's, technology and the world wide web in particular have changed the way we create, share, research, and communicate. This new "Read, Write Web" also offers a lot of potential for educators and administrators to change the way we collaborate. There are many resources available now for absolutely free, Google is only one of those many services currently online. Others include Wikispaces, Zoho, ThinkFree, and Zimbra.
Presentation Objective:
By sharing the free resources and applications available from Google, you will begin to rethink the way you currently use technology to support collaboration and communication within your school community.
