Audacity Training
Audacity may be the best piece of open source software ever made available to teachers. This program makes it fun for students to practice fluency, motivates them to both read and write, and it's easy to use!
By the end of this training you will know how to open Audacity, record and edit your voice, insert sound effects, and save to either .wav or .mp3 format for use with Podcasting. The PowerPoint presentation used in this training, along with all handouts are attached at the bottom of this page.
To view simply left click on the linked document, or right click and choose "Save Target As" and save them to your computer for use at a later time.
